The Pas (Clearwater Bay) Airport - CYQD

The Pas Airport (CYQD) is in western Manitoba, 19km northeast of Town of The Pas. MB-287 road serves as access to the Airport, and it separates Clearwater Lake on the north side and The Pas Airport on the south side. The airport ownership, operation, and staffing are under Town of The Pas, while the Winnipeg Airport Services Corp (WASCO) is responsible for airport management and technical services to support the ongoing governance, administration, and continuous development of airport operations.

 

The airport’s objective is to enhance the airport’s role in the community as an economic catalyst while achieving a high level of operational excellence in its operation as a safe and secure facility.

Air Services

The Pas Airport is a certified aerodrome with scheduled flights by Calmair Airlines along with many operating charter flights. The airport also serves as a base for Manitoba Wildfire aircraft (waterbombers) and support services.
